These birds were photographed on 3 February 2001.

I used a Fuji FinePix 4700 Zoom digital camera

The  female Mallard on the left would look over- exposed if seen on its own; with its companion, it can clearly be seen to be leucistic. It was on Swan Pool, Aldridge.

I don't think this young chap, at Chasewater, realised what he had started, when he offered a Swan some bread...
